The Wave
Nearby jetties and a shifting sandbar create strong rips and sudden hollow shore - breaks-this spot can slam inexperienced surfers and boards into sand when large.
It most often works on W-SW groundswells that wrap into Grays Harbor, and is cleaner on quieter southerly/SE wind set-ups with mid→high tide windows for surfable peaks.
Keep at least 50 yards south of the main jetty to avoid the strongest outward pull.
