The Wave
Expect shifting peaks and strong rips around the Twin Rocks/points - channels form at the north and south ends that make paddling out easier on big days.
When a long-period NW or W groundswell arrives with light E/SE winds (offshore) the peaks clean up and the right-handers at the southern point and the big right at the north end light up.
Smaller, short-period summer surf is more forgiving on mid to high tides.
