The Riomar access is small and parking limited, so expect low crowds but bring patience and a short walk from street parking.
The nearshore reef often sits right off the beach and can make exposed outer peaks that break over rock.
Best surf windows are long-period north swells (winter) on lower tides when the outer reef peels, and light W-WSW winds clean the faces - avoid strong onshore easterlies and always watch for current/shark advisories.
