Lineup Guide
Check the river state first: when the mouth is open, a deep channel and strong currents cut across the beach, so treat access and exit as hard filters.
Northeast wind is the cleaner lane, southwest swell is the trigger, and the north-side reef and beach rips are the main hazards.
South-end car park is the easier access, and the low-tide terrace gives the beach more room, but the river-open current is the bigger decision point.
