Suicide rock is the jump spot on entry, so time the paddle-out carefully and check the ledge, rock cover, and exit before committing.
West-northwest to west offshore cleans it up, south to southeast swell is the main trigger, and tide is only a secondary check: look for the ledge and rock shelf to stand up cleanly rather than forcing a narrow window.
Drive Cheynes Beach Road to the end, then walk over the rocks to the point.
Sharks and rocks are the main hazards.
